My rescued boy dog, Ludwig Sparklepants, was the most difficult dog I ever encountered due to his high levels of fearfulness and reactivity, and his immidiate shut down to even high reward treats when he got nervous. (Hence I was a foster fail and he is my forever dog)

Despite my own experience, I reached out to numerous behaviorists and my veterinarian, but nothing seemed to help my nervous boy enough to give him the life he deserved.
Finally someone suggested I try CBD. I myself take CBD, and was excited by the idea of a holistic and healthy helper for Ludwig.
I researched extensively including taking veterinary webinars and began experimenting. It took a while to find his "sweet spot" but soon I was able to walk Ludwig without him jumping from 0-10 'flight or fight" mode at any of his seemingly endless triggers.
With the right amount of CBD, instead of spiraling into an unreachable reaction, he was able to stop, focus on me, and reset. From there I was able to continue his training.
As founder and director of an animal rescue, I was eager to see how CBD could help my rescue animals with both anxiety and pain.
